Boston Bruins - Ottawa Senators = My favourite team from Ottawa collide with my second favourite team from the beautful city of Boston, it really is. This game should be an eventful one, just because the Bruins have lost a few games the last couple of weeks and that the Sens have won four in a row now. Even though the Sens are on a streak, and they have changed their play completely, I have alot of respect for the Bruins. I hope for a tie but my gut says that Boston will take this one, but Alfie and the rest will put up a good battle..
Buffalo Sabres - Florida Panthers = Two teams that are in the race for a play-off spot, two fairly solid teams both defense and offense. But I feel Vanek and Roy won't give up this game that easy against one of their main competitors. The Sabres should and likely will take this one, but a OT or SO could determine the outcome..
Detroit Red Wings - Calgary Flames = This game could be the two teams left in the western conference in may, both teams have solid players all through their rosters. This is why I think a draw could be the case. Detroit have been piling up upsets lately and the Flames have been on a tough roadtrip the last week, I pick a draw, 3-3....
New Jersey Devils - Phoenix Coyotes = The Devils are a far, far much better team than the Coyotes, with that said there's no doubt they should win this one. But the Coyotes have some new players and I haven't seen their game since the trade-deadline so there's some kind of risk here to pick the Devils as blunt as I do, but I'm willing to take that risk, because the chance is far to big to not take it. Brodeur won't give up more than one goal, and Elias with Parise & Co will definetly score more than 3 goals..
Philadelphia Flyers - Washington Capitals = This game could be the nights bright-spot, just because of the fact that there are so many highly-skilled players on the ice, maybe not on the defense, but the offense is stacked. Ovie, Semin, Backstrom, Green, Carter, Hartnell, Gagne, Timonen, Kozlov, Fedorov, prehaps Briere, need I say more? I'm a bit curious on how the Caps react after some upseting losses, but I pick a draw with many goals, 4-4...
Columbus Blue Jackets - Pittsburgh Penguins = The Blue Jackets have a new exciting team with rookie-sensation Steve Mason in the goal, and with Nash, Huselius, Vyborny & Co they will improve the next seasons, for sure. But the Penguins with Crosby, Malkin, Gonchar, and new-comer Guerin will put up a fight. This will be a tight game, I'm sure of it. 3-3 or 4-4 is my picks..
Montreal Canadiens - NY Islanders = Montreal are a far better team than the Islanders and should win, they need this win in the race for a play-off spot. I pick the Canadiens as the winners..
Toronto Maple Leafs - Tampa Bay Lightning = The Maple Leafs are solid in Air Canada Center and should win this game, after what they've shown the last 5 games. But the Lightning are tired of losing now, (OT loss tonight against Senators), and are not in the mood for a big upset. I pick a draw game, once again this night, but Toronto should win this one..
Nashville Predators -NY Rangers = Close game, tight game, those two phrazes should summarize the outcome, which will be 3-3, with reservation for a high-scoring game, even though Lundqvist is in the goal. A draw here, once again...
Dallas Stars - Carolina Hurricanes = The Hurricanes has played amazing hockey lately, their streak ended last night against Chicago, but they got a point though. Dallas are a solid team but could be alot better on their defense, but Turco makes up for their lacking at times. I'm very uncertain what to believe concerning this game, but I feel a draw could be the case, 4-4. I know this is a very safe way to say I'm not sure but picking a winner here is hard, I would like to have seen the teams last few games before picking the winner, but I haven't so a draw is my best bet on this one...
St. Louis Blues - San Jose Sharks = The tank for San Jose is the better team, but the Blues have home-ice and they, despite their lacking in the standings, have a fairly decent defense so this should be a low-scoring game. But Thornton, Blake & Co are too strong and skilled to lose during regulation..
Colorado Avalanche - Minnesota Wild = The Avalanche are a mystery for me this season, everytime I bet against them, they win so I'm uncertain on how they play. But they have some good players offensively and if they have a good night, they could win against any team. But the Wild have Backstrom in goal and won't die that easy. I pick with confidence a draw on this one..
Edmonton Oilers - Atlanta Thrashers = Two boring teams with not a single chance of winning the cup this year, this is why my research is a bit weak when it comes to these two. The Oilers have a pretty good team, but they seem to lose alot of close games anyways. And the Thrashers mix good games with horrible ones. Easy to pick the Oilers I guess, but if Kovalchuk is on his toes, there could be a high-scoring game with a draw as the outcome..
Summary of my bets

Detroit - Calgary x
New Jersey - Phoenix 1
Philadelphia - Washington 1x
Columbus - Pittsburgh x2
Montreal - NY Islanders 1
Toronto - Tampa Bay 1x
